This was my first wedding that shot by myself. The wedding was small, but it was filled with fantastic people. I want to thank this wonderful couple for choosing me to shoot their wedding, and I hope there are more opportunities with them. I did some traditional wedding shots, but with my own twist. I hope you enjoy!

Gold Canyon Party

Hey Everyone,
Last Saturday I went to a Gold Canyon party, which I have never been to one before. It was so much fun. Thank you Vanesa for inviting me, and thanks to Melissa for organizing it. I was allowed to take pictures of the kids that were there. The kids were a blast, and it was fun taking pictures of them. These were the best photos out of the bunch, so enjoy. :D

Studio Photos

Hey Guys,
It has been a long time since I have posted anything new. That is my fault and I'm sorry. These are very recent photos, I took them of my friend at EVIT. We had a blast. I wanted her to look really sad, so my friend Kim did her makeup. This is how it turned out. I hope you enjoy.

This Century at The Local

Hey everybody,

The last highlight of my summer was going to This Century's last concert in Arizona before their grand tour. They were so good that night because the fans begged for one more song.

This is my first time editing RAW images, and I love. So, for a couple of days I have playing around with these images in RAW format.

Enjoy,

Yellowstone

For this years summer vacation my family and I decided to go to Yellowstone with some friends. I saw many neat things there like hot springs, geysers, waterfalls, and wildlife. I went river rafting down the Snake River in Jacksonhole. I saw the Teton Mountains. Here are some of the pictures of Yellowstone.

Enjoy,

Mammoth Hot Spring
This spring was HUGE, this picture is only a fraction of it. The whole thing just sparkled when the sun shined on it.
Lower Falls
I hiked down 300 stairs to get to the fabulous view where I got this shot

Old Faithful Geyser
It was amazing how high it went off. I had to wait for an half an hour, but the shot was worth it.

I am not quite sure what this pool was called. I thought the dark colors and unusual shape would make an excellent picture.
Upper Falls
I took this on the side of the road. If you look close enough you can see a huge crowd of people on the cliff right by the top of the waterfall.

Weeping Spring
The amber and wood colors are cool against the lime stone on the spring.
Buffalo
I saw a bunch of these guys throughout my trip. He was looking right at me while I took the picture

This Century at the Clubhouse

Hey Guys,

I am so sorry I haven't posted anything in a long time. I have been busy learning more about photography and making my pictures look amazing on Photoshop.

I recently shot pictures at the Clubhouse in Tempe. I was shooting for the band, This Century, while the were playing live. These guys definitely got the crowd going with their music. That night was the first time of my life where I got to go past security to behind the stage (or in this case to the side of the stage). Also, it was the first time that I climbed on the speakers to take pictures.

So, here are pictures of This Century performing live. I also did some cool color and B/W effects.

Tell me what you think and enjoy,

Phix Concert

Hey Guys, once again I have posted some more pictures for you to check out. I am sorry to all the bands that I did not post the pictures from the concert last week earlier. Anyways, I had bunches of fun last night just taking photos and hanging out with my friends. I learned from this concert that I need to bring earplugs to future concerts. Tell me what you think of them and enjoy.

Ronald and Carson is the only band I know that only a third of the band came to perform. Who cares, because they looked like they had a blast just jamming some of their tunes.

Once again the 'Fabulous' Courtney Brooke got the crowd mesmerized by her music. I am telling if you have not heard of her you need to go to her website.

Ghost was the craziest band I saw. They did some stunts that I will not forget. They had really awesome light effects. This band, Out of Reverie, was that last performance of the night. They made the crowd go crazy. Especially when they invited everyone to dance on stage, which I did not. Plus they were fun to talk to after the show, one of the funniest groups I have ever met.

Avnet's Annual Softball Tournament

Hey Everyone! Sorry it has been a while since I posted anything. I had to wait for a long time to post these photos because I had to get permission to use them on my blog first. Here are some of the photos from the Avnet's Annual Softball Tournament. I had a blast taking these photos because I have never shot any sport before. Plus, I had tons of help from graphic designer, Tara Nichols. I hope that I will get a chance to do more photo shoots with her.

Tragedy at Williamsfield High

This picture is dedicated to the horrible event that took place on Wednesday, April 16. Four teenagers that went to my school got in a terrible wreck around 9:30 pm. Three of them lived, but one life ended that night. This is dedicated to Randy Deal, Luke Beaver, Dylan Beaver, and Parker Skidmore. Dylan died that night on the scene Everyone, pray for the surviors to survive thier injuries. Pray for all the families who stand by thier sons or brothers each day with hope. Pray for Dylan and that he is safe wherever he is now.

I thought this picture represented that tragic evening. Look at the stickers and writing closely so you can see what I mean. I edited this in photoshop by changing it to black and white. I brought out some of the lighter shades out to make so of the writing stand out. I kept the red color to remind us of the Tradedy.

Trunkspace Concert

Sorry Guys. I know I posted this a little late. These pictures were taken at trunkspace. I have learned through experience how to shoot with low lighting, but not little lighting. I had fun shooting these pictures because it was different from the other concert I shoot because it was wide and open. So, critique me all you want and enjoy the pics.
~Britney~

Here are some images of the fabulous Courtney Brooke playing at her first concert ever. To go to her link check my first post.
This is talented, Taylor Jordan, and was the first to go onto the stage. I edited this in photoshop because the ~curtains behind him were a bit to blah for me. So I changed to a ~vibrant blue, that I thought would make him stand out. His music that he wrote is so creative, I love it.

Concert at the Brickhouse

Hey Guys,

Last night was one of the most awesome and most nervous nights of my life. It was awesome because I have never been to a concert like this before. It was also nerve racking because this is the first concert/low level lighting area that I took pictures at. I was freaking out the night before trying to learn what settings to shoot with and all that jazz. Here are some of the pictures from the concert. Tell me what you think and enjoy.

This is the HOTTEST band in the valley called this century. Joel (left), Alex, Ryan, and Van (right) allowed me to take group photos of them. Unfortunately their guitarist, Sean, wasn't around. To see how hot this band is go to:
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=22779272

Joel is the lead singer of This Century. Let me tell you his voice is fantabulous, highest compliment in my dictionary. His voice made my spine chill.

For this shot I had to stand right next to the speakers. My advice, stay away from the blasting speakers haha. It was worth it though because I captured the moment at a perfect angle. Plus this half of This Century look like their having tons of fun.

Alex (left) and Ryan (right) made the show great. It was a little harder to shoot them because I was in a tight space, which I am not used to.

Chad Gendason was the first performance of that night. He got the crowd pumped with his wicked guitar skills. Plus he made my skin crawl which is a good thing. To visit his site go to www.myspace.com/gendason.

Courtney Brooke

Hello again! This photo was was taken at the same place with the same model. I experimented with this photo on photoshop. I had a blast editing this picture. I played mainly with the color, and came up with this. Enjoy and tell me what you think.

First Photo

Since I am a starting photographer, this is one of my first photographs that I took. This is Courtney Brooke, a new up and coming piano artist, and I did a photo shoot with her at the Mesa Arts Center. This was taken with the Canon 40D and a 28- 135 IS lens. I hope you enjoy this photograph, and please return feed back to me. I am happy to learn new ideas that would help me succeed even more.
