Since I am a starting photographer, this is one of my first photographs that I took. This is Courtney Brooke, a new up and coming piano artist, and I did a photo shoot with her at the Mesa Arts Center. This was taken with the Canon 40D and a 28- 135 IS lens. I hope you enjoy this photograph, and please return feed back to me. I am happy to learn new ideas that would help me succeed even more.

That is a solid portrait. Very nice...Well framed, nice natural lighting, and a good clean background.
I suggest you size your photos down a bit before you post them, though. Although your work is copyrighted, there isn't anything stopping someone from right-clicking on it and copying it to their own computer or for whatever use.
Just be mindful that this is a site to showcase your work...It's a public page, so anyone can see it (unless you change your privacy settings)...So protect your work. Some people like to add their name to the image.
Hey Britt its Olivia. (I agree with what the Ryan guy said early by the way.) Your picture is very good and i never knew that you loved photography so much, or that you had it in you. I think you will do really well with this in the future. Its fantastic and i'm impressed.
Wow Britney, you're a really talented photographer, for a beginner. you're going to have to take my picture one of these days.
You have a lot of potential!
